Propósitos para el año nuevo (Novice)

Upon our return from the winter holidays, students in Novice Spanish reflected on their goals for 2021. They practiced using the verb “querer” (or “to want”) plus an infinitive in order to express what they hope to achieve. What are your goals for this year?

Genesee: The verb “querer” is an incredibly important word that, because of this project, we got to learn all about! It was a heartfelt way to learn more about conjugating irregular verbs and to begin saying full sentences in español!

Izzy:  Not only was El año nuevo a great way to learn how to conjugate irregular verbs, but it also helped us build on our small conversations.

Pashya: I was glad when I learned how to say “I want” in Spanish because I feel like that is a common sentence of mine in English!
