Rhys's LaTeX Explainer
Last term, Rhys became interested in how to type math neatly and well. Programs like Google Docs or Microsoft Word were not designed for complex equations, often making the equations look oddly spaced or weirdly tiny. After hearing about LaTeX, a document preparation system that is a combination of word processor and programming language, they were interested to learn this complex method and create beautiful MST assignments. In an effort to make LaTeX slightly convoluted program more accessible, they created an introductory sequence to help explain LaTeX and get a new user up and running. Hopefully, this introduction can help others to design neat and well-formatted assignments in the future. Want a full guide for using LaTeX? Check it out here.
