In this project, each student chose an object they found in their house. Then with an electronic caliper, they took measurements of that object and replicated them exactly using Onshape.
When you click onto one of the pictures to the right, you will see the Onshape document for that student’s home object. On the right-hand side of the screen, you will see a small cube that has each side labeled. If you want to view a specific side, click the surface of that mini cube. You can also rotate the initials cube directly by right-clicking in the middle of the screen and dragging your mouse around.
Some students have multiple tabs along the bottom of the screen. These show different parts of the object. The “Assembly” shows how all of the parts fit together. Some of these assemblies also move, so try clicking and dragging different parts of the object to see buttons press or parts rotate.
