Improvisation
Division 1 and Division 3 students both embarked upon the great adventure that is improvisation. While somewhat disappointed we weren’t playing “Freeze” and “Bus Stop” on a continuous loop, students embraced the complex and difficult practice that is improvisation. We began the trimester by practicing listening skills and the imperative skill of acceptance of and building upon scene partners’ ideas. We explored status, cooperative exercises, and character building. The students completed the trimester by creating their own improv games.
