Sabrina is an interdisciplinary educator and lifelong learner with a background in Literature and Creative Writing, Art History, Cinema and Media Studies, Spanish, and Art Education. Over the years, Sabrina has worked as an art educator at the Museum Of Fine Arts Boston, the Peabody Essex Museum, and the Museo Reina Sofía, and has taught youth of various ages in diverse international and domestic educational environments. Her personal and professional experiences—ranging from teaching English Language Learners in Spain to developing and facilitating arts curricula for youth in afterschool programs—have shaped her approach to teaching. As an educator, Sabrina prioritizes creating spaces for curiosity and introspection, fostering intersectional and holistic learning, and engaging students critically with societal issues.

Outside the classroom, Sabrina enjoys practicing muay thai, making art, and watching films at the Coolidge and Brattle theaters. She also engages in continuous learning about the indigenous values and histories of the Philippines as a way of deconstructing colonial mentality and connecting with her cultural heritage by reading and sharing stories with her Lola. Her relationship with her own identity and familial roots inspires her to encourage her students to learn from their unique identities and understand their personal experiences as valid and important sources of knowledge. Sabrina joined Meridian in 2023.
