12th Graders Visit Alumni on Campus

As part of the college application process this fall, Meridian juniors and seniors are visiting campuses throughout the region and the country. On Friday, a group of seniors visited Meridian alumnae Sabrina Accime and Liliana Costa-Smith at their respective schools: Mount Holyoke College and Clark University. They answered questions and talked about classes, life on campus, having a roommate, and the ups and downs of living away from home. Visiting a campus can help students warm up to a college—or not! Visits are not always possible, but if you can visit, do. Sabrina Moss-Haaren, a Meridian senior, said, “Seeing a campus when there are students going about their routines is really helpful in visualizing yourself being there.”
