Monica Lee – World Languages
B.A. Romance Languages and Literatures, The University of Chicago
M.A. Mediterranean Studies, Middlebury College

Monica has been passionate about teaching languages ever since working as an English Teaching Assistant at a public high school while studying abroad as a college student in Paris, France. It was a unique experience in that both she and the students were in the process of learning the other’s language, and Monica used her knowledge of French to help them gain a better understanding of English. Monica enjoys helping students build authentic connections through language and introducing them to new cultures, and has taught Spanish, French, and English Language Learning at several independent schools, including over a decade at Walnut Hill School for the Arts. During her free time, Monica likes to explore new places, revisit old ones, and watch K-dramas. Monica joined Meridian in 2024.
