When I was starting out JRPS I wasn’t exactly sure what area I wanted to do and I just wanted to do something relating to architecture. Throughout this process I was able to narrow down my focus to the question: what is the relationship among architecture, specific problem-solving, and socio-historical context? And within this question I had two case studies which were the Crystal Palace and the invention of the skyscraper. From my JRPS process I was able to think about the buildings around me in a different way and I hope to take the thing I have learned into the future with me.
