Support Meridian Academy
Making a gift to Meridian means making a commitment to a school that pushes the boundaries of what it means to be an independent and progressive secondary school in Boston. Meridian’s founding premise is that students are unique individuals when they come into school, and unique when they leave; with diverse learning styles centered around curiosity, collaboration, and community. Added to this premise is our unique dedication to keeping independent education accessible. Our Matched Tuition plan helps keep Meridian as an option to as many families as possible, but we wouldn’t be able to do it without your support and our community’s support.
Ways to Support
The Open Doors Fund
In honor of our 15th year, Meridian renamed its annual appeal to the Open Doors Fund. The Open Doors Fund is critical to our dedication to making independent education affordable. Every dollar you give goes directly towards tuition assistance for all our families, keeping our top rate down, and allowing us to match the income levels as many families as possible.
Planned Giving
Support Meridian with a gift that continues your generosity from one generation to the next. Through your estate or retirement plan, you can provide general support for the school, or fund a program that you have particular interest in. To find out more about planned gift options, and which ones might be best for your situation, contact Nathan Sokol-Margolis at 617-797-3442 or nsmargolis@meridianacademy.org.

There are many other ways that you can provide this exciting education for Boston-area students:
Spread the Word! Tell friends, especially those with school-age children, about the school. Encourage them to call, visit the web site, or come to an information session.
Volunteer! If you have a relevant area of expertise, please consider helping out maintaining technology or joining the Development or Outreach committees. If you have particular strengths around development, outreach, or human resources, or if you work for an organization that would partner with Meridian around curricular activities, please consider serving on our board.
