Throughout this trimester, students built on their previous exploration of functions to focus on quadratic equations. There are multiple methods to find the solutions for these parabolas, though it can often be challenging to know which method to use for a given equation. After discovering how each method works and why it works mathematically, students were challenged to create explanatory videos for each of the three methods. They selected equations to best suit each solving method, honing their skills of choosing the most efficient solving method for any parabola.
