Connection and Perspectives with all students engaged in problem posing and problem solving about their world in interdisciplinary classes and carrying out original long-term investigations and creative efforts.
Growth and Agency with all students leading in service to their communities, excelling academically, socially, and emotionally through reflection and collaboration, and growing as open-minded, resilient young adults-in-the-making.
The Power of Small Communities with our students known well as individuals and as learners, sharing in decision-making and forming strong and joyful community bonds. We are an intentionally small school with around 90 students.
Meridian Academy was founded in 2005 with sixth and seventh graders and graduated its first class of seniors in 2011. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, independent college preparatory school located in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston with excellent T access.
