Alexandra Trunnell - Mathematics, Science, and Technology
B.A. in Physics and Astronomy, Vassar College
M.Ed., High Meadows Graduate School

Alex has always had a curiosity about the world around her, which has grown into a great passion for science and mathematics. Alex's interests include astrophysics and astrobiology, and she has done research involving exoplanet detection and the habitability of Jupiter's moons with both Vassar College and MIT. Inspired by her own high school physics mentor, Alex has also kept her eyes on the ground here on Earth; she has found her way to her true passion of teaching and loves being a Meridian teacher. When Alex isn’t in the classroom, she enjoys leading astronomy field trips with the MAMO (Meridian Academy Mobile Observatory), baking, and sewing. She joined Meridian in 2019.
